Mind Matters: Convey Law Empowers Staff with Mental Health First Aid Training
Convey Law takes immense pride in its participation in Mental Health Awareness Week. As a company renowned for its exceptional work culture, Convey Law is dedicated to promoting mental health and well-being among its employees while fostering a supportive environment.
The company is thrilled to announce that its journey to introduce Mental Health First Aiders has commenced, with a group of dedicated volunteers from the team attending the initial training session.
Over the next two months, these volunteers will acquire a deep understanding of mental health, develop essential skills, and learn practical approaches to supporting their colleagues’ well-being.
Equipped with this knowledge, the Mental Health First Aiders will be able to understand the importance of mental health, recognise factors that can affect well-being, cultivate strong interpersonal skills, provide support to those in need, and promote mental health within the workplace.
The Mental Health First Aiders will be equipped to:
- Understand the importance of mental health and its impact on individuals and workplaces
- Recognise factors that can affect well-being and identify signs of distress
- Cultivate strong interpersonal skills, including non-judgemental listening
- Provide support to those in need and help them on their journey to good mental health
- Promote mental health in our workplace and foster a healthy, inclusive, and supportive environment
The Senior Management Team at Convey Law has also undergone a comprehensive management overview session, gaining insights into tackling stigma, recognising various mental health problems, initiating conversations, providing practical support, and understanding mental health recovery.
Convey Law firmly believes that a company’s culture plays a pivotal role in creating a fulfilling work environment. With a commitment to both professional pursuits and the well-being and happiness of its employees, Convey Law continues to prioritise mental health throughout Mental Health Awareness Week, reinforcing the notion that a healthy and supportive workplace is the foundation for individual and collective success.
