Managing Director of Convey Law Becomes New Board Member of The Society of Licensed Conveyancers

Lloyd Davies, Managing Director of Convey Law, joined the Board of Directors of The Society of Licensed Conveyancers in November 2012. The Society of Licensed Conveyancers (SLC) is the professional body that represents the Licensed Conveyancer profession.

Lloyd qualified as a Solicitor in 1995, specialising immediately in residential conveyancing. Lloyd has been involved with various government steering committees in relation to conveyancing related legislation. Lloyd established Convey Law in 2007 and has developed the company into one of the largest conveyancing companies in the UK.

Upon joining the board, Lloyd said: “I am delighted to have been appointed to the Board of Directors for The Society of Licensed Conveyancers. The profession is in desperate need of strong representation and support. Our profile as Licensed Conveyancers needs to be enhanced, both in the eyes of the general public and in relation to the mortgage lender community. We are the most effectively regulated, specialist conveyancing professionals in our industry and have been for many years; we need effective representation. This is an exciting time the SLC and I look forward to working with the society to ensure the continued success of the profession.”
