Convey Law Help Ty-Hafan to Raise £50,000.00

Ty-Hafan sponsors help to make the 2013 Midnight Sleep Walk a huge success.

The 2013 Ty-Hafan Midnight Sleep Walk enjoyed considerable success once again this year. The event is projected to raise over £50,000.00 for the Children’s Hospice thanks to over 800 walkers or ‘superheroes’ as they were dressed for the evening. Amongst the participant’s on a wet Friday night were a contingent from Convey Law of Newport.

The Conveyancing Lawyers of Stow Hill in Newport, who were title sponsors of the Midnight Sleep Walk for the 3rd consecutive year, have raised over £100,000.00 for Ty-Hafan over recent years. This year over a dozen staff represented the company along the 6 mile route through Cardiff. In addition to Convey Law’s sponsorship donation, the whole office got involved by sponsoring their superhero colleagues, raising a further £800.00 in total.

Convey Law has a proud history of support for Ty-Hafan. In early 2010 Convey Law decided that they would like to support a local charity, after careful consideration Ty-Hafan was chosen and the partnership has not looked back since.

Over the past 3 years Convey Law has hosted, attended and sponsored many events in aid of Ty-Hafan including monthly dress down days, the Midnight Sleep Walk and their Free Legal Fee Competition. The competition offers clients the chance to win a full refund on their basic legal fees by donating £10.00 to Ty-Hafan.

Convey Law has set a target of £38,000 to be raised for Ty-Hafan in 2013.
