Convey Law Raise £100,000.00 for Ty-Hafan

Newport Conveyancing Lawyers smash through £100,000.00 mark in support of the Ty-Hafan Children’s Hospice.

Convey Law of Stow Hill, Newport have achieved a major milestone in their support and fundraising for the Ty-Hafan Children’s Hospice, whom they have supported since 2010. The conveyancing company, who specialise in residential property transactions, have now raised in excess of £100,000.00 for the Children’s Hospice.

In early 2010 Convey Law decided that they would like to support a local charity, after careful consideration Ty-Hafan was chosen and the partnership has not looked back since.

Over the past 3 years Convey Law has hosted, attended and sponsored many events in aid of Ty-Hafan including monthly dress down days, the Midnight Sleep Walk and their Free Legal Fee Competition. The competition offers clients the chance to win a full refund on their basic legal fees by donating £10.00 to Ty-Hafan.

This week Alison Stallard, Business and Community Manager at Ty-Hafan, visited Convey Law’s offices to present them with a ‘thank you’ cake and display picture in the design of a butterfly. The display picture was designed and made by the children in Ty-Hafan’s care and will take pride of place in the Convey Law office.

Lloyd Davies, Managing Director at Convey Law commented:

“We are delighted to have reached this milestone. Ty-Hafan has grown very close to our hearts here at Convey Law and many of our staff have formed a close bond with the charity and the fantastic work that they do. We have no intention of stopping here!”

Convey Law has set a target of £38,000 to be raised for Ty-Hafan in 2013.
