Ty Hafan Cambodia Team
The Convey Law Cambodia Ty Hafan trip is now only 8 weeks away!!
Our intrepid explorers are all in training – Ivan is even on location already. All have dried up for January – nearly – and are trying their best to get fit without exercising!!
I hope that you all agree that we at least look the part however!!
Convey Law charity trekkers Lloyd Davies, Mark Probert, Phill Edwards, Ivan Thomas and Adrian Harrow are getting set to embark on a gruelling challenge to the great temple complex of Angkor Wat in Cambodia to help raise vital funds for the Ty Hafan children’s hospice.
The countdown has now well and truly begun with the Convey Law sponsored kit arriving for the 26 team members in readiness for the 9 day, 90km trek taking starting on the 22nd March. The group will trek through the jungle, camping for 5 nights under the stars, to reach their challenge destination.
Ty Hafan is the leading Welsh children’s hospice which provides comfort, care and support to children with life-limiting conditions, along with their families. Through their vibrant hospice and diverse community programmes, they offer families short-break care and help them make the most of the short time they have together; creating precious memories and ensuring a short life is a full life. And when a child is close to the end of their life, Ty Hafan becomes a family’s safe haven, by their side during their most difficult time.
Ty Hafan Corporate Ambassador Lloyd Davies commented: “Thank you to all of the Ty Hafan Cambodia trekkers and to everyone who has contributed and donated to this wonderful challenge. I would hope that we can achieve our overall fundraising targets of £55k for this incredible children’s hospice.”
