Convey Law Supports the Mindstep Relay 2025

One of Convey Law’s chosen charities for 2025 is the Mindstep Foundation, a cause deeply close to our hearts. This year, we have set an ambitious goal to raise £30,000 in support of vital research into suicide prevention.
In November 2025, Max Davies would have celebrated his 30th birthday. Tragically, in 2018, Max lost his life to suicide at just 22. In his memory, Convey Law is dedicated to raising funds for the Mindstep Foundation, supporting ground-breaking research at the University of Glasgow aimed at better understanding and preventing suicide.
Fundraising Efforts
Our team is taking on incredible challenges to raise awareness and funds – pushing our limits to help prevent other families from experiencing the pain of losing a loved one to suicide. From endurance cycling, skydiving and a relay run, we are committed to making a difference.
Mindstep Relay & Bake Sale
We kicked off our fundraising in March with the Mindstep Relay, where participants pledged an hour of their time for an activity of their choice before passing on the virtual baton. From reading and mystery tours to walking and running, our team embraced the challenge alongside friends, family, and even their furry companions.
Additionally, we hosted a bake sale, raising funds while bringing people together for a great cause. Between these two events, and our clients entering our Conveyancing Foundation Charity Lotto, we are thrilled to have raised £8,639.75 towards our goal!
Upcoming Challenges
- April 5th – A fearless team of volunteers will take to the skies for a 10,000-foot skydive in support of Mindstep. Thirteen team members will experience the ultimate adrenaline rush—all in the name of charity.
- June – Lloyd Davies, Max’s father, will embark on a 250-mile cycling pilgrimage from Monmouth to Canterbury, where Max attended university.
- November – A final fundraising push to ensure we exceed our £30,000 target, supporting Professor Rory O’Connor’s pioneering work at the Suicidal Behaviour Research Laboratory (SBRL). This research could save lives—but it needs funding.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported, participated, and donated so far. Your generosity and encouragement have brought us this far, and we couldn’t do it without you.
