Millie Rooke Runs for a Cause Close to Her Heart – And Smashes Her First 10K
At Convey Law, we are always proud to celebrate the incredible achievements of our team – and this week, we’re delighted to share the inspiring story of our Legal Cashier Supervisor, Millie Rooke.
Over the weekend, Millie completed her very first 10K run in Newport – taking on the challenge with determination, purpose, and a deeply personal reason for doing so.
Running for the T4 Neurosurgical High Care Unit
Millie is raising vital funds for the T4 Neurosurgical High Care Unit at the University Hospital of Wales – a cause close to her and her family’s heart.
Two years ago, Millie’s mum suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm. It was the staff at the T4 Unit who provided expert medical care, emotional support, and strength throughout a very difficult time.
“Recovery was tough – both physically and mentally. At times, we didn’t know if Mum would ever return to work or live a ‘normal’ life again. But thanks to the amazing staff at T4, she made it through. She still faces challenges, but she’s here – and we’ll never stop being grateful.”
An Incredible Personal Achievement
Running doesn’t come easily to Millie, but that didn’t stop her. With courage and a clear goal in mind, she trained hard and completed the Newport 10K in 1 hour and 18 minutes – a fantastic milestone in her fundraising journey.
Millie is now preparing for her next 10K in Porthcawl this July, continuing her efforts to give back to the team that helped her family when they needed it most.
Over £1,100 Raised – and Counting
Thanks to the generosity of friends, family, and colleagues, Millie has already raised an incredible £1,165 for the T4 Unit.

To support Millie in her efforts, Convey Law will be doubling the total amount raised – helping to maximise the impact of her fundraising and provide even more support to the incredible team at the T4 Unit.
