What sets your team apart in terms of service, efficiency, or innovation?

We work in small, close-knit cohorts that foster collaboration, mentorship, and shared success. This structure allows us to deliver consistent, high-quality service while empowering everyone to thrive. 

Our Kaizen commitment to continuous improvement drives everything that we do. We’re constantly refining our systems, embracing new technologies, and streamlining processes. Innovation is in our DNA.

This past year has brought significant pressure, particularly with stamp duty deadlines and a busy property market, how has your team risen to the challenge? 

The challenges of the past year demanded resilience, and our team rose to meet them with focus and adaptability. Hybrid working gave our team the flexibility they needed. 

Clear communication, structured support, and frequent recognition helped maintain morale. Monthly and quarterly bonus schemes rewarded dedication, while weekly CPD Thursdays and one-to-one check-ins kept our skills sharp and our teams connected. Despite external pressures, our standards never slipped – client satisfaction remained our North Star.

 

What’s the secret behind your team’s ability to work so well together under pressure? 

Our cohort model supports strong team bonds and clear communication. Everyone is encouraged to learn, share, and grow. 

Happy Days and quarterly Convey Days bring everyone together for training, wellbeing, parties and fun, helping us stay connected, even with a hybrid work environment. 

Holiday cover and a great team support structure are vital.

 

How would you describe the culture within your conveyancing team?

Our culture is built on care, collaboration, and celebration. We treat each other like a family tribe, respecting boundaries and encouraging balance. Hard work is recognised through awards, bonus schemes, and long-service celebrations. We enjoy working together, and that energy translates into high performance and mutual support. 

We are the UK’s leading charity fundraising legal practice, with our team and clients raising over £1.2 million for charity. Giving is engrained in our culture.

 

Conveyancing can be a high-stress environment, what do you do to relieve pressure and protect your team’s wellbeing?

Wellbeing is part of our identity. We’re committed to work–life balance, with flexible hybrid working as a key ingredient. Excellent salaries and bonus payments, reward hard work and great client service. We all enjoy up to 40 days holidays a year, with holiday cover. 

Resilience training, life coaching and mentoring is supported through our Cohort structures, our team of Mental Health First Aiders, and our dedicated wellbeing platform. 

Good workload management is key to wellbeing and our excellent Convey365 IT system helps us to manage all transactions highly effectively. All Conveyancers work with an Assistant and with specialist Administrative, Legal and Post Completion support teams. 

We care deeply about safeguarding each other’s wellbeing.

 

What lessons from the past year will shape your team’s future success?

Focusing on wellbeing is paramount. A happy, well-balanced team, working with and for each other, is a guarantee of success and great customer service.   

We’ll strive to be the best we can be and to continually improve. We’re always investing in professional and leadership development, structured mentoring, and offering clear career progression pathways.
